Upcoming Charity Event (Angels for Kids)
by Geektographer on Jan.31, 2010, under News
The Angels for Kids Foundation (501c3) will be having a charity event on Saturday, Feb. 27th. 2010 from 6:30 pm – 10:30 pm at the Creekside Golf Dome in Girard, Ohio. There are going to be some great speakers there and it will be a fun time while raising money for an important cause.
Yours truly will be the event photographer. I’ve known Shanyn (the founder of Angels) for years; she’s a great woman and she has lost many loved ones in her life, including her twin brother last year. She has taken all that tragedy and turned it into a wonderful charity to help kids.
When I get some more information from Shanyn about the event, I’ll post it. In the mean time you can find out more about the Angels for Kids Foundation at their website and Facebook Fan Page (become a fan!).
